Forget What You Can Get.
See What You Can Give.

Winter Care Project

After a long year of planning and execution, we are finally done with the Winter Care Packages. With the help of wonderful people, we were able to get all of the needed donations. The original goal was 500 bags, but we were able to make 551 bags. We still have a couple individual items that were left over that we are going to donate. We are grateful for everyone that either contributed monetarily, donated physical items, or donated through the Amazon wishlist.

A special thank you to the amazing volunteers that assisted in assembling all of the bags. It took us over 6 hours to complete everything. We truly appreciate you all for your assistance during that fasting period.

Thank you to FaithLed Fellowship for organizing and executing the distribution in Bloomington, IN.

Thank you to all the friends that assisted with the distribution in Atlanta, Chicago, and Indianapolis.

God bless everyone that had a hand in our success. May all of your prayers turn into testimonies. ♥️

FLINT WATER PROJECT

The first act of service for The Hezekiah Foundation was the Flint Water Project. In 2014, traces of lead were discovered in the water in Flint, Michigan. In 2019, they were still without clean water. The water crisis claimed much livestock. Lead poisoning has a vast amount of detrimental effects such as cognitive deficiencies and effects on the brain, kidneys, and liver. At the start of the project, the initial goal was raising $1,500 to purchase many cases of water to deliver to the people of Flint Michigan. By the end of our first project, we were able to raise a grand total of $1,823. The Flint Water Project was supposed to be for a year, but due to COVID in 2020, the decision was made to postpone the delivery of the water.

On April 3rd, 2021, with the help of over 100 donors, we were able to make the delivery! We appreciate everyone that donated, whether it was money or actual cases of water, it truly meant a lot. We donated over 500 cases of water (~20,000 water bottles) to Berston Field House in Flint, MI. Thank you to the members of Chi Alpha Epsilon at Indiana University - Bloomington for the additional help and support. Thank you to our family for always being our support system.

Thank you to Tolu Sopitan for being the most supportive friend and making the drive with Joy Morounfolu from Bloomington, IN → Indianapolis, IN → Auburn, MI → Flint, MI. We thank God for journey mercies and for allowing us to be of help unto others. We pray that as you all blessed us to complete our first project, the Lord will return the blessing unto you all.
